Welcome, dear colleagues!

Technical Management

Fleet management implies a number of activities that are not visible to either the charterer, the shipowner, or the crews on board ships, if everything goes smoothly and smoothly. The task of AtSea project team is to implement effective ship management, which is aimed at fully satisfying the Tasks of the Shipowner, the Requirements of the Charterer and the Needs of the Crew on board the vessel

The task of the Shipowner is the smooth operation of the vessels

The Charterer’s requirement is the readiness of the vessels to perform assigned tasks within the specified time frame

The Crew’s needs are safe, efficient operation and maintenance of the vessel in comfortable conditions with a sufficient amount of ship spare parts, fuel, oil, chemicals and consumables.

AtSea project team carries out work in each of these areas, ensuring efficiency, accident–free and safe operation of ships.

The concept of Technical Management implies not only the management of the ship’s work regarding the control of the amount of fuel consumed, oil, chemicals, ship spare parts, the frequency and quality of maintenance of ship systems and mechanisms, but also the organization of the effectiveness of these processes through high–quality training of crews, on board and on shore, using an online educational platform AtSea project.

The main tasks that AtSea project team implements by performing technical management of vessels.

– Control of the validity period of classification documents and interaction with representatives of classification societies ABS, RMRS, BV, Rina, DNV for the organization of inspections and issuance /extension of the validity period of documents

– Control and organization of safe technical operation of vessels

– Investigation of all cases of damages and failures in the operation of ship systems and mechanisms, identification of the causes of their occurrence and formation of proposals for their prevention with the release of Circular Letter on the fleet and coverage of events in order to prevent failures and damage in the future

– Control over the timely provision of ships with consumables, fuel, verification of the validity of applications sented from ships and discussion of optimization methods with the crews of ships in order to reduce operating costs.

– Conducting trainings with ship crews in order to optimize fuel and fuel consumption on board.

– Conducting interviews with applicants for the positions of enlisted personnel and Engineers (Fourth, Third, Second and Chief Engineer).

– Carrying out work /trainings with engine room department in order to optimize the operation of ship systems and mechanisms on board and as a result reduce operating costs associated with improper and untimely maintenance

– Monitoring the efficiency and proper use of technical means, reducing their wear, increasing reliability, reducing fuel consumption.

– Monitoring and analysis of fleet fuel consumption, including using special programs.

AtSea project has brought together Technical Superintendents with many years of experience working on Container Ships, Bulk Carriers, Tankers, LNG Carriers and offshore fleet vessels. Their many years of experience at sea on board modern vessels of various types and deadweight allowed them to accumulate knowledges that is the basis for the organization of efficient and safe operation of ships.

Crew Training

The AtSea project team is working on creating high-quality lectures and video reviews, online courses to prepare seafarers for numerous interviews and tests in crewing and shipping companies. Online courses and lectures are aimed at improving the knowledges of ship mechanisms and electronic devises about modern ship systems, procedures and ship documentation. On our platform you will find more than 100 author’s courses and lectures from specialists of the Cargo fleet with many years of experience on board modern vessels of various types.
Our courses are aimed at training seafarers to work confidently on ships of international shipping companies. Our courses are aimed at training seafarers to work confidently on ships of international shipping companies.
Several times a month, online webinars are held on various topics related to the operation and maintenance of ship systems and mechanisms on board modern ships. The webinars raise issues related to fuel, oil, alternative fuel sources such as LNG, and also consider modern ship systems and mechanisms in detail.
Delta Chief Engineer, Delta Second Engineer, Delta Watch keeping Engineer mobile applications for Android and Apple are applications created by our team for preparation and successful completion of the “Convention Plus” qualification tests
